P2P Launch New Junior Program

Pathway to Professional Football Academy – Invitation to trial

The Pathway to Professional Football Academy (P2P FA) will offer professional football development coaching in Canberra. We will focus on developing the character, skills and on-field decision making of our young male and female players.

When? P2P FA will start on 20 November 2018, (Tuesday / Thursday)

Who? U13s from 5 pm and players over 13 years from 6.30 pm

Where? O’Connor Playing Fields, Pedder Street, O’Connor (Field 1)

We will train twice per week in these age groups until 20 December 2018 (inclusive). To celebrate our Academy launch and to reward our initial members for helping us test our online systems, the 2018 program will commence with free trials on the first two days followed by functional academy sessions at just $10 per session.

Our fully accredited UEFA ‘A’ licence coach will provide both ‘on demand’ and functional academy training sessions to talented young players in the ACT region. These sessions will include football specific personal training, technical skills, effective possession and team play. Both single and regular sessions are offered, with players able to choose the training they require at a time that suits them best.

Functional academy sessions will be tailored to both player skill levels and their ages. P2P FA players will also be able to be assessed for our 2019 scholarships. Applications for this high level program for up to 16 dedicated and talented young players will also open for expressions of interest from November 2018.

If you believe you have the desire, talent and commitment to pursue your dream and give yourself every chance of becoming a professional football player, then you are cordially invited to make an application to trial for selection for our inaugural Academy program.
