Mr Luke Wilkshire

The Pathway to Professional Football Academy (P2P FA) is excited to announce that former Socceroos legend Luke Wilkshire has agreed to be the Talent Identifi

cation Consultant for our academy graduates.

Luke played over 400 games as a professional footballer with Middlesbrough in the EPL, FC Twente and Feyenoord in the Dutch Eredivisie, Dynamo Moscow in Russia and Sydney FC in the

A League. Luke also played 80 games over ten years for the Socceroos, including two World Cups, and scoring eight international goals in the process.

A former Wollongong Wolves player, Luke reunited with his old club towards the end of last season after his successful stint with Sydney FC and he was later appointed the Wolves NPL Head Coach, winning the NPL Premiership at his first attempt. He will provide an important pathway for our players to the NSW NPL and overseas for academy players that are assessed by him as suitable.

Our Child Safety Consultant

Ms Carleigh Dallen

Ensuring that aspiring footballers have the technical and physical requirements needed to be successful on the pitch is essential in developing players. P2P is taking the preparation of aspiring players to the next level and strongly believes in developing the whole footballer – on and off the pitch – with a special focus on mindfulness and community engagement.

Carleigh is an experienced Social Worker with extensive experience in supporting young people and families, particularly those who experience high vulnerabilities and trauma.  She also has a strong background in community development and believes that it takes a village to raise resilient and well-rounded young people.

Carleigh will focus on the holistic requirements needed of a player in today’s demanding and changing environment, including creating a healthy life-sport balance, developing an understanding of social and emotional well-being and actively contributing and participating in the community. She will work with players in partnership with their existing supports such as parents and schools to promote player well-being and child safety.
